I kinda figured this thread could be used for things you would say ZOMG!!!! over in excitement. ^^;
okay. most people here will have NO FUCKING CLUE what I'm about to talk about, with the exception of my sister rosie when she joins and (possibly) nen-nen.
BUT.
I'm uber excited right now and I need to get this off my chest.
there's RPG computer game that I absolutely adore, almost worship, called Might and Magic VII. unfortunately, my copy of the play disk BROKE IN HALF. ::pauses for a moment of mourning:: so I couldn't play it for the longest time.
now, I absolutely LOVE (like, the uber-god-worshipping kind of love) the music in this game. the play disk actually had the music on it when you stuck it into a CD player, so I listened to it VERY often. ANNNNNNNNNNNND! when the disk broke, I nearly died.
...seriously.
(yesh, I KNOW I'm pathetic, there is no need to tell me this. --;)
now, on to the present time. (background info was severely needed)
I got another copy of the game for christmas this year. (...I literally screamed. even though I knew I was getting it. 'cause I persuaded mommalus to buy it off of amazon. --;) UNfortunately, it won't let me PLAY THE GAME. ::violent twitch:: on either my nice, shiny new laptop, or my normal computer. >.<#####
ANYHOO. before I go crazy over that.
the music is on this copy of the disk, too. (I wasn't sure if it would be.) so I popped it into the CD-rom drive on my computer (my main computer, not my laptop), and opened the media library on winamp...
AND ZOMG IT WAS THERE.
so I opened the CD-rom drive and put it in the top drive to rip it in goldwave, and I am currently listening to MIGHT AND MAGIC VII MUSIC ::does krocker-like twitch:: (krocker as in fairly odd parents...did I spell his name right? oO;) on my computer!
